When they heard about an audition for a music video in L.A., they didn't hesitate. They packed their brightest neon outfits and hit the road. However, the audition wasn't exactly what they expected. Instead of a music video, they were intercepted by Isaac, the nephew of a dying billionaire named Mr. Blakemore. Isaac had a devious plan: he wanted to scam his uncle out of his fortune by hiring Nisi to pretend to be the granddaughter of a woman Mr. Blakemore had loved and lost decades ago.

Nisi and Mickey were two best friends from Decatur, Georgia, with gold teeth, sky-high hair, and dreams even bigger than their platform heels. They spent their days working at a local diner, but their hearts were set on moving to Los Angeles to open the world’s first hair salon and soul food restaurant combo.
