One morning, Billy decided he wanted to find the "Giant Golden Leaf." Legend had it that this leaf tasted like honey and sunshine, and whoever ate it would never feel sleepy again.
"Where are you going, Billy?" croaked , a kangaroo hopping by.
Unlike his friends, who were perfectly happy sleeping twenty hours a day, Billy was a bit of a dreamer. While the others tucked their noses into their fluffy chests, Billy would sit on the highest branch of his favorite gum tree, staring at the distant, blue-misted mountains.
The journey was full of wonders. He met a platypus named who taught him how to cross a shallow stream without getting his fur too soggy. He shared a laugh with a kookaburra who thought Billy’s determination was the funniest thing he’d heard all year.
"I’m going to the Blue Mountains to find the Golden Leaf!" Billy announced, adjusting his grip on the bark.
