Keaton is celebrated for practical effects and stunts that remain visually stunning today.

: In 1928, Keaton moved to MGM, a decision he later called "the worst mistake" of his career. He lost his creative independence, and his professional decline was furthered by personal struggles with alcoholism.

: Began performing at age five in "The Three Keatons". He was famously cast as the "Human Mop," learning to take extreme falls while being tossed about by his father.
