Porumbescu | Ciprian

Ciprian Porumbescu (1853–1883) was a foundational figure in Romanian classical music, recognized as one of the country's first national composers. Born in Bucovina to a Romanian Orthodox priest, he studied in Suceava and Vienna, where he was mentored by the legendary Anton Bruckner .
