Enraged by a Broadway production titled Swinging the Muses that portrays the Greek goddesses as "man-crazy" jazz dancers, descends to Earth to intervene. Adopting the mortal name "Kitty Pendleton," she secures the lead role in the musical produced by Danny Miller (Larry Parks).
