The (Adhan Supplication) is a powerful prayer recited by Muslims immediately following the call to prayer (Adhan). According to Sahih al-Bukhari, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) promised his intercession on the Day of Judgment for whoever recites this dua after hearing the Adhan. Arabic Text
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ، [إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ] Transliteration
: Before reciting the Ezan Duası, it is recommended to send blessings (Salawat) upon the Prophet Muhammad.
: Repeat each phrase as the Mu'azzin (caller) says it.
: When the Mu'azzin says "Hayya 'alas-salah" (Come to prayer) or "Hayya 'alal-falah" (Come to success), respond with: "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" (There is no might or power except with Allah).
"O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer. Grant Muhammad the intercession and favor, and raise him to the honored station (Al-Maqam al-Mahmud) You have promised him, [verily You do not neglect Your promise]". Etiquette of the Adhan
Allahumma Rabba hadhihid-da‘watit-tammah, was-salatil-qa’imah, ati Muhammadanil-wasilata wal-fadhilah, wab‘athhu maqamam-mahmudanil-ladhi wa‘adtah, [innaka la tukhliful-mi‘ad] . Translation
