For the next two hours, the "scandalous" title of the stream was debunked by the reality of their bond. Between answering questions about their childhood and competing in a ridiculous "underwater breath-holding" challenge, the two spent most of the time laughing at inside jokes. They ate slices of cold watermelon, debated which movies to watch later, and thanked "Gifted Sub" alerts with synchronized splashes.
With a final wave and a promise of a vlog tomorrow, Mikaylah cut the feed. The terrace fell into a peaceful silence, the only sound left being the gentle hum of the heater and the wind in the trees.
The screen instantly flooded with a scrolling wall of emojis and greetings. Mikaylah leaned into the frame with a practiced, high-energy smile. "What’s up, everyone! Welcome to the Saturday Night Soak. You guys requested it, so today I’ve finally convinced my step-sister Chloe to join the stream!"
"Are we ready?" she whispered, glancing over at her step-sister, Chloe.
Chloe, usually the shy one of the pair, was wrapped in a plush white robe, nervously scrolling through the chat on a tablet. "Five thousand people are already waiting in the lobby, Mik. Is the heater actually working? It’s freezing out here."
As the moon climbed higher, the energy mellowed. They sat back against the jets, the neon lights reflecting in the ripples.
"The water is perfect," Mikaylah promised, clicking the 'Go Live' button. "Just be yourself. They love the 'family weekend' vibe."
"I actually had fun," Chloe admitted quietly, looking at the camera. "I thought it would be weird, but it just feels like hanging out."
