Eager to prove that Willow is a powerful witch—and to show up their rival Amity Blight—the trio decides to perform a "moonlight conjuring". They aren't just trying to make a doll dance; they want to animate something big. After a few failed attempts, they inadvertently hook their magic into the entire itself.

The hunters trap the kids, but Willow’s hidden potential saves the day. Pushed by the need to protect her friends, she unleashes massive plant magic that overpowers the hunters and secures the house.

Suddenly, the house sprouts giant chicken legs and begins stomping through the woods, controlled by the kids' collective willpower. Hooty, the house demon, is thrilled to finally be "moving," but the joyride quickly turns dangerous:

In the Boiling Isles, adventure often starts with a little bit of rule-breaking. In the episode Luz, Willow, and Gus find themselves home alone while Eda is out on a "business trip" (selling human junk) and King is busy trying to command an army of baby bats.

Their giant, walking house attracts the attention of demon hunters who specialize in rare beasts. They capture the house, intending to sell Hooty for exotic meat.
