While Sky promised "outstanding customer service," many users expressed concern, as O2 and Be historically scored higher in customer satisfaction polls than Sky at the time.

Be Broadband was highly regarded by "pro" users and tech enthusiasts for its high technical standards and unbundled network.

Customers were moved from the Be/O2 infrastructure onto Sky’s own network throughout 2014 .

This acquisition propelled Sky to become the second-largest broadband provider in the UK, overtaking Virgin Media and narrowing the gap with BT.
