Tom - Hiddleston
Why Tom Hiddleston’s Passion For Marvel is Unmatched : r/loki
Tom Hiddleston is far more than a "Marvel villain." While he gained global recognition as Loki, his career is defined by a deep-seated intellectualism, a reverence for classical literature, and a relentless commitment to "absolute professional integrity". An Eton and Cambridge-educated scholar who later graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) , Hiddleston approaches acting as a form of deep psychological inquiry. tom hiddleston
Hiddleston's performances are often anchored in extensive research. For his role as a physiologist in High-Rise , he viewed a real autopsy, and for the gothic romance Crimson Peak , he studied R.D. Laing's The Politics of the Family . This intellectual rigor is perhaps most evident in his portrayal of Loki; he famously wrote a nine-year-long character essay and held multi-day lectures for the Loki series cast and crew to ensure every nuance of the character’s history was understood. His heart remains in the theater and the works of William Shakespeare. Hiddleston has tackled complex classical roles, from the conflicted Prince Hal in The Hollow Crown to the intense, physically demanding title role in Coriolanus . He often uses his platform to bridge the gap between high art and popular culture, once writing a passionate editorial for The Guardian defending superhero movies as modern mythologies that should not be scorned. Why does it seem like the run blocking went back in the toilet with Sundell coming back? Feels like I'd rather see him take Bradford's place and let Olu keep playing C.
The offense is a concern, but there are two things I find encouraging. Darnold’s turnovers are down substantially since the Rams game, and despite looking timid and off in the first half of games, he does look good in the 2nd half of the last two games. He doesn’t fold under pressure. I also think there is a Seahawk offense that can play well start to finish, and a Seahawk offense that can keep it moving from the opponent’s 25 into the end zone. However the time to go looking where it is, is over. We need to find it for Thursday.
Shaheed looks better each week. Today he was there and clutch. Darnold and he are synching up well, and just in time.
We will need to find one more solid piece on the O-line next year. Maybe that will not only help the run game, but improve pass protection.
All is still good for the Hawks. A win Thursday and in all likelihood the experts will start talking about the Seahawks as the team to beat. I have faith! Let’s all keep the faith!
