Stanislas Prévine, a young sociologist, visits a prison to interview Camille Bliss (Bernadette Lafont) for his thesis on criminal women. Camille, accused of murdering her husband and lover, recounts her life story through a series of cynical and humorous flashbacks. The naive Stanislas eventually falls under her spell, attempting to prove her innocence while ignoring warnings about her manipulative nature.
