: Frustrated by Abby's behavior and the lack of professional guidance, the "Elite" moms (Holly, Jill, and Kira) decide they have had enough. They eventually decide to leave the ALDC to form their own group, later known as The Irreplaceables .

: After being absent and leaving the team with guest choreographers like Laurieann Gibson, Abby Lee Miller makes a surprise return to the studio. Her nonchalant attitude upon returning—even ordering takeout from Long John Silver's—clashes with the frustrated mothers who have been managing the team in her absence.

: A major flashpoint occurs during a rehearsal where the older girls attempt to choreograph their own routine. They pressure Brynn into a difficult lift that she feels is unsafe.
